Terms of Service
This English translation is provided for convenience. The Japanese version is the official text and prevails in the event of any discrepancy.
Article 1 (Application)
These Terms set out the conditions for using the web service “Forgotten Library” (the “Service”) provided by Naritan Corporation Co., Ltd. (the “Company”). By using the Service, users are deemed to have agreed to these Terms.
Article 2 (Description of the Service)
Based on the user’s answers, the Service writes a reading of their personality as “the book that is you,” together with related paid content (the “Detailed Chapter”). The Service is intended for entertainment and self-reflection. It is not a medical or psychological diagnosis, and it does not guarantee any prediction of the future.
Article 3 (Paid content)
After payment is completed, the paid “Detailed Chapter” becomes viewable through credentials stored in a cookie on the user’s device. A single payment unlocks all detailed chapters for the book concerned.
If the cookie is deleted, or if you wish to read on another device or browser, we can reissue access by sending a one-time access link to the email address you registered with the payment service (Stripe) at the time of purchase (the “Restore” page — currently provided in Japanese). We also recommend saving the Detailed Chapter as a PDF.
The content of the Detailed Chapter is provided as of the time of purchase, based on the user’s own result. The Company may supplement or revise content, and does not guarantee that content will remain identical after purchase.

Article 4 (Prohibited acts)
Users must not engage in any of the following:
- Reproducing, republishing, or selling content of the Service without permission
- Unauthorized access, or acts that interfere with the operation of the Service
- Acts that infringe the rights of other users or third parties
- Acts that violate laws or public order and morals
Article 5 (Disclaimer)
The Company shall not be liable for any damage arising from use of the Service, except where caused by the Company’s willful misconduct or gross negligence.
Article 6 (Amendment of the Terms)
The Company may amend these Terms upon notice to users when it deems necessary. Amended Terms take effect when posted on this page.
Article 7 (Governing law and jurisdiction)
These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Any dispute concerning the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the court having jurisdiction over the location of the Company’s head office.
